Grace Grayson is a past president of FANA and was an original member of the East Bay Fan Guild in Northern California. She has been collecting for 40 years beginning in England in 1969 when lifetime friend Geraldine Pember asked her to buy fans for her while Grace was in the UK. And thus began Grace's foray into the world of fans! The fans in the exhibit have been chosen to highlight Graces' varied interests in the art of the fan and will include many accessories,jewelry and fan ephemera to compliment the fans. This is a once in a life time exhibit not to be missed.

A luncheon honoring Grace will be held on Monday November 9, 2009 at noon at the Hotel Healdsburg. Grace will give a talk on her years of fan collecting and there will be many fans laid out for view in addition to the Museum Exhibit.
